Instrumentation & Control Engineering (ICE) is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for industrial processes. It involves measuring and controlling parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and level in manufacturing plants, refineries, automation systems, and robotics.
Eligibility Criteria
For Diploma Courses:
Completed 10th or 10+2 (Science/Technical stream)
Admission through merit or polytechnic entrance exams
For Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/B.E):
Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Must qualify engineering entrance exams (JEE Main, state-level entrance, or university-specific exams)
For Master’s Degree (M.Tech/M.E):
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields
Admission through entrance exams like GATE or university-specific tests
