Marine Engineering
Marine Engineering is a branch of engineering that focuses on the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of ships, submarines, and other marine vessels. It includes working on propulsion systems, navigation equipment, offshore structures, and marine automation.
Eligibility Criteria For Diploma Courses:
Completed 10th or 10+2 (Science/Technical stream)
Admission through merit or polytechnic entrance exams
For Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/B.E in Marine Engineering):
Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Must qualify engineering entrance exams (JEE Main, IMU CET, state-level exams, or university-specific tests)
Medical fitness is required (eyesight & physical fitness as per maritime standards)
For Master’s Degree (M.Tech/M.E in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture):
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Admission through entrance exams like GATE or university-specific tests
