B.Sc. Operation Theater Technology

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Operation Theater Technology (OTT)is a 3 to 4-year undergraduate program that trains students in surgical procedures, operation theater management, and patient care before, during, and after surgery. The course focuses on handling surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, anesthesia management, infection control, and emergency response in an operation theater.

Students gain hands-on training through internships in hospitals, surgical units, and healthcare facilities, making them skilled Operation Theater Technologists who assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses in the surgical team.

Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:

Must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects.

Minimum aggregate score of 50% (may vary by university/college).

Entrance Exams :
Some universities conduct entrance exams (like AIIMS Entrance Exam, CUET, NEET-UG, etc.), while others offer admission based on merit.
